No one will argue that Boyz II Men have made it to the top of the list of the most successful R&B bands with three number one pop singles certified as longest running singles in music history. Boyz II Men tickets are a hit among those who love soulful ballads. Marc Nelson and Nathan Morris were both students in the High School of the Creative and Performing Arts in Philadelphia before they formed the group in 1988. Aside from the two, the original members of the group which was then known as Unique Attraction are Shawn Stockman, Michael McCary and Wanya Morris. They got their break when they met Michael Bivins in 1989 who immediately offered them a contract.

Boyz II Men’s album “End of the Road” became an instant hit when it can out in 1994 but it was no longer produced by Bivins but by popular musicians like Terry Lewis, Jimmy Jam and Babyface. It became a number one hit and sold more than 12 million copies. The first single from the album was written by Babyface and was entitled “I’ll Make Love To You”. The single made it to the top 1 of the music charts for 14 weeks which a second time for the group. Another single from the album “On Bended Knees” followed their second chart topper and has remained in the Top 1 for six weeks. This was a feat considering that the only artists who replaced their number 1 chart toppers were the Beatles and Elvis Presley. Another single “Water Runs Dry” made it to the Top 5. Boyz II Men are all over the industry and their collaboration with other artists like Michael Jackson, Brandy and LL Cool J has only made them more popular. However, they will always be remembered for “One Sweet Day”, which was a duet with Mariah Carey and which topped the Charts for 16 weeks..
