Founded in 1980, this Woodland Hills, California based group has been on and off the music scene for almost thirty years already. With more than 14 albums in their name, critics hailed their 1988 release, Surfer, as one of the most important punk rock album of all time. Currently configured as a six piece band, Bad Religion is composed of founding members Jay Bentley, Brett Gurewitz and Gregg Graffin, along with Greg Hetson, Brian Baker, and Brooks Wackerman. Their first album was released in 1982 and was entitled How Could Hell be Any Worse? Their latest album, made in 2007 is named New Maps of Hell. There is an album on the way and is due for release in 2010. Gregg Graffin is the lead vocals in all of the band’s releases.
